Why is STI testing important?

The most common symptom for many STIs is no symptom at all. Knowing your sexual health status is important because if left untreated, STIs can cause health issues for you and your potential partners.

If you are sexually active, getting tested routinely can help you know about and treat STIs quickly and effectively.
