Understanding the risk involved with HIV symptoms, HCV and other STDS is key to protecting yourself and living a long, healthy life. H.O.P.E.’s outreach team visits schools, universities, civic groups and other organizations to educate the community on HIV/AIDS, syphilis symptoms, hepatitis C (HCV) and STD prevention, education, counseling and testing.
An outreach specialists can tailor H.O.P.E.’s programs as needed for schools and younger audiences. In addition, H.O.P.E.’s services extend beyond the classroom to health fairs and other community events to inform the public about HIV symptoms, trends and the rising cases of STDs, such as syphilis. All of H.O.P.E.’s programs focus on the importance of safe sex and how to prevent diseases from spreading.
