Hi! I’m Joey, an Agricultural Communications senior at Oklahoma State University. GO POKES! I have been a veterinary technician for over 20 years, but have decided to shift gears in my career to focus on nonprofit charity communications in the companion animal or LGBTQ+ community.

I have several years of LGBTQ+ community activism on my resume and currently serve as the president of the Imperial Court of All Oklahoma, one of HOPE’s partner charities. With my understanding of the needs of the communities we serve, I plan to aid HOPE in every way I can.

My favorite time wasting activity is:
Watching anime. Currently, I am an avid Sword Art Online fanboy.

My favorite snack food:
You can never go wrong with a good old peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

If I were another animal, I would be:
A bear. The teddy kind.
