Hi, y’all! I’m Alex!

 I started working at HOPE in November 2022 but have volunteered since 2021. I love the opportunity to work with a diverse community, providing much-needed health education and resources to people. I am most passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community, specifically the trans community, who have historically been discriminated against in healthcare settings.

 I want to make people feel comfortable and safe in our clinic. Whether they are here for testing, our harm reduction vending machine, or to get treatment, I am here to help!

If I were another animal, I would be:

I would like to say a cat sleeping in a sunbeam, but truthfully, I would probably be a racoon trying to wash cotton candy in a puddle.

My favorite spots in Tulsa are:

Tulsa Botanical Garden for the gorgeous views, Seoul Bistro for the delicious food, Love Me Two Times for the shopping, and WaterWorks Art Center for the great classes.

My go-to karaoke song:

If I did karaoke, it would be Take You Back (The Iron Hoof Cattle Call) by Orville Peck. Yeah it has a lot of whistling, but I think I could make it work.
